Getting Around

While most people come by car and park in the free parking lot, many find Metro is the best way to come.  Others come by canoe as part of an organized trip or on their own.

At the park paths lead from the parking lot and river to the pond area.  The pond area has little shade.

For those with mobility concerns, parking in the maintenance parking lot is available on most weekends.  Follow the service road on the right of the parking lot.  There are major display ponds a few feet in front of this parking lot.

The service road should not be used beyond this parking lot or damage to cars may result.
