Water Wheel and Casey's Canoe Livery Environmental Assessment

The Lakeshore announces the signing of the Water Wheel and Casey’s Canoe Livery Restoration Project Environmental Assessment Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on August 2, 2007. The FONSI identifies the Preferred Alternative in the environmental assessment (EA) as the selected alternative and is the decision-making document for the project.  A copy of the FONSI may be viewed by clicking on the following link: Water Wheel FONSI (377 kb, pdf file).  The EA may be viewed by clicking on the following link: Water Wheel EA (1.7 Mb, pdf file).  The restoration project is scheduled to begin in late August 2007.  A news release may be viewed by clicking on the following link: Water Wheel News Release.
