You’ll learn what Park Rangers do to help protect our natural resources and our cultural heritage. You’ll also learn how Park Rangers observe and discover new things about our National Parks.

is located on the southern shore of Lake Michigan in northern Indiana. It has many of the same plants and animals as you will find in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. They have developed a couple of online games that will teach you about the dunes ecology and water and beach safety. Let the Games Begin!

Did You Know?
Sleeping Bear Dunes includes two large islands in Lake Michigan - North and South Manitou Islands. Take a day trip to South Manitou Island and explore the island village and lighthouse or take a motor tour of the farming district. If you go to North Manitou Island, plan to camp overnight!
