Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
Invasive Species Team Leader – oversight of program and daily supervision of staff. Meet with partners and determine research needs. Great Lakes Fishery Commission Technical Assistance Project Leader – daily supervision of project. Meet with partners to determine research needs. Develop and administer project budget; Collateral Duty Safety and Environmental Compliance Programs – oversight of safety and environmental management programs. Provide expertise and guidance on safety and environmental issues. Ensure that USGS, OSHA, and all other applicable state and federal regulations for safety and environmental compliance are followed. Report on compliance to USGS Eastern Region Safety Manager. Radiation Safety Program – oversight of UMESC radiation safety program. Ensure that USGS license requirements are followed. Report on all aspects of radiation safety to USGS Radiation Safety Officer.
