Bringing a class to the park on your own can present many unique learning opportunities for your students. All accredited educational institutions are eligible to receive free entrance to the park to advance their studies. Guided boat and tram tours, canoeing expeditions, hiking trails and exhibits are but a few of the experiences that await our visitors. Did You Know?
Everglades National Park protects the largest wilderness area east of the Mississippi River. The wilderness area is named for Marjory Stoneman Douglas who was instrumental in creating the park, and who coined the phrase "River of Grass."
