Volunteering at Fort Smith National Historic Site

Fort Smith National Historic Site relies on volunteers for assistance throughout the year.  VIPs have worked side-by-side with park interpreters during living history events and have provided visitor services at the front desk.  In addition, some work "behind-the-scenes" assisting in the library, researching, doing general office tasks, and helping to maintain the living history equipment.
