LSTA Grant Peer Evaluators
Peer evaluators provide a thorough, objective assessment report of the results of LSTA grant projects funded by the State Library. These reports can help replicate the best practices of a project in another community.

We´ll keep your name and resume on file and try to match your interests and expertise with a Library Services and Technology Act grant project in your region. Email Ann Reed  or phone (503) 378-5027 for more details.

As a peer evaluator you'll:
  • Visit the site
  • See what innovations another library is trying
  • Meet colleagues with similar professional interests
  • Earn a $400-$600 stipend

Evaluations
Generally, the evaluator will visit in the next-to-last month of the grant project. Following the site visit, the evaluator writes a report of findings and sends a copy to the State and to the grantee. The report contains a 1-2 page summary, with a 2-7 page main report.  The document  Specifications for LSTA Grant Project Evaluations  provides a guide to the evaluation.
