Intimate partner victimization rate per 1,000 female by ethnicity, 1993-2005

For Hispanic females, the rate of nonfatal intimate partner victimization began at 11.8 in 1993 and decreased to a low of 3.1 in 2002. Then the rate increased to 4.7 in 2005.

For non-Hispanic females, the rate of nonfatal intimate partner victimization began at 9.6 in 1993 and fell to a low of 3.4 in 2005.

For non-Hispanic males, the rate of nonfatal intimate partner victimization began at 1.4 in 1993 and increased, reaching 1.9 in 1994. After 1994, the rate decreased, reaching 0.6 in 2003, before rising, reaching 1.3 in 2004. Then it fell to 0.9 in 2005.
