Advisory Council-Overview
The purpose of the Talking Book and Braille Advisory Council is to act as an advisory group to the Oregon State Library Board of Trustees (OSL Board).  The Council also serves as an advocate for the promotion and further development of library services for all blind and physically disabled individuals.
 
Membership on this Council is representative of those organizations and individuals having a direct interest in library services to the blind and physically disabled persons.  Members of the Council serve four year terms.  Regular meetings are held at least four times each calendar year.

Upcoming Meetings
The next advisory council meeting will be held on Wednesday September 17, 2008 starting at 1:30 pm at the Oregon State Library, Salem.
