Regional Forester's Sensitive Species List

The Sensitive Species list that has been at this link was out of date and removed from this website.

Since the Pacific Southwest Region is undergoing a Sensitive Species list revision, an anticipated update will occur in fall 2008.

The first Regional Foresters Sensitive Species list was created in 1984 and then updated in 1998. Minor amendments have occurred since then.

In 2006, an updated to the Sensitive Species list was completed for plants. The Pacific Southwest Region is in the process of updating the list for animals. Partial animal list revision is anticipated in fall 2008, with the remaining update to occur in spring 2009.
