On The Lake...

On The LakeON THE LAKE: Life and Love in a Distant Place. The hour-long documentary based at the Zambarano unit of Eleanor Slater Hospital in Burrillville, is now in final post-production and has just been approved by Rhode Island PBS for broadcast the evening of March 23, 2009. Masters seriesFirst annual Masters series in Forensic Mental Health. This training will focus on providing forensic mental health services to persons on forensic commitment throughout Rhode Island’s behavioral care network. Participants will learn about the treatment options in caring for persons on forensic commitment. NAMI walks National Alliance on Mental Illness

From coast to coast, thousands will walk this year to promote hope, treatment, and recovery. The Annual NAMI Rhode Island Walks is at Roger Williams Park Carousel Saturday, October 4, 2008.
