CARE Delaware (Caregiver Assistance - Respite - Education)

CARE Delaware is a service provided by Delaware Health and Social Services' Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) to assist caregivers.

Caregivers are family members, friends, or others who help take care of older persons. Caregivers are also older relatives, such as grandparents, who care for children.

CARE Delaware is funded by the Older Americans Act through the National Family Caregiver Support Program. Services within the program were developed through partnerships between DSAAPD and the Division of Libraries, local libraries, senior centers, respite care providers, and others.
