"Immigration laws are great tools to reinforce social
prejudices"

Varshna , Am I to understand that you are advocating NO laws at all,and
wish us to open the borders for all and anyone, at any time, to enter? If
not, exactly are YOU wishing for? The fact that immigration laws, in the
past, were developed from some past idea, does not mean that it is for the
same reason that we have them today.

"Did you know that the complaint that immigrants are willing to
       > work for lower wages than "American" workers dates back to the end
of the
       > 19th century? "

So how does this tie in with wishing that we have enforced immigration laws
and orderly entry into this country?
( NOTE PLEASE, that I do not say - NO -entry. )
