Wisps of dust blow off Namibia’s Skeleton Coast over the Atlantic Ocean in this Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) image, acquired by the Terra satellite on July 15, 2004. In the south, tiny ripples in the orange Namib Desert show where giant sand dunes have formed. Angola forms the top of the image.
