Partnerships for Compliance Assistance - Agreement Template
Partnerships for Compliance Assistance Program (PCAP) The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Compliance Assistance Policy (DOL/OCA) and <ORGANIZATION NAME(S)> share an understanding of the importance of providing clear, accurate and easy-to-access compliance assistance for employers and other DOL stakeholders in order to protect the wages, health benefits, retirement security, safety and health of America’s workforce. Therefore, DOL/OCA and <ORGANIZATION NAME(S)> are establishing a collaborative partnership to ensure that members of <ORGANIZATION NAME(S)> are aware of compliance assistance resources available to assist them in fulfilling their responsibilities under the various employment laws administered by the Department of Labor. In particular, DOL/OCA and <ORGANIZATION NAME(S)> will collaborate to achieve the following goals designed to help ensure that <EMPLOYERS/MEMBERS/OTHERS> understand their legal rights and responsibilities under employment laws administered by DOL:
The purpose of DOL/OCA’s partnerships is to foster activities designed to raise employers’ and others’ awareness of the DOL’s laws and regulations and the DOL compliance assistance tools available to them, thereby helping protect the wages, health benefits, retirement security, safety and health of America’s workforce. By entering into a partnership with an organization, DOL/OCA is not endorsing nor promoting any of that organization’s products or services nor their legislative agenda. Representatives of both DOL/OCA and <ORGANIZATION NAME(S)> will meet to develop an action plan and timeline, determine procedures for working together and identify roles and responsibilities of participants in implementing the partnership. They will then meet as needed to track and share information on partnership activities and results in achieving the goals of the partnership. This partnership agreement goes into effect on the date accompanying the signatures below and will remain in effect for <MUTUALLY AGREED UPON TIME PERIOD>. Either signatory may terminate the partnership agreement for any reason at any time with 30 days written notice. Also, this partnership agreement may be modified at any time with the concurrence of both signatories.
