The Puget Sound Health Care System has Social Workers that are located at both the Seattle and American Lake Divisions.

Both divisions are fully staffed with Social Workers to meet the needs of patients. Social Workers are members of all major Primary Care teams and are located throughout the Medical Center and in several off-campus locations.

Social Workers assist veterans and their families to resolve emotional, psychosocial and economic problems.  Assistance is also provided in dealing with the stress of illness, providing information about the VA and community resources, and facilitating the veteran's aftercare from the Medical Center.

This web site is meant to be a resource for those who receive care at this facility as well as those who visit.

For the main Social Work Office for both Seattle and American Lake divisions, call 206-764-2646 (or x62646).

Social Workers are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm except on holidays.
