The Shenandoah National Park Resource Seminars are designed for those who want to get to know their national park a little more personally. Seminars provide a more in-depth experience to learn from scientists, researchers, educators, and other experts about resource issues and recreational opportunities in Shenandoah National Park.
Family-oriented seminars appeal to those with children while other sessions cater to the interests of primarily adult audiences. All seminars involve a hands-on experience that creates a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the wonderful resources found in the park.
Reservations are required for all seminars and space is limited. A fee is charged for most seminars. The fee includes the Shenandoah National Park entrance fee and course instruction and materials.
Your registration is confirmed with receipt of payment. Refunds will be made for cancellations received 10 days prior to the seminar.
Resource Seminars are co-sponsored by the Shenandoah National Park Association and ARAMARK, and the National Parks Conservation Association.

Did You Know?
Shenandoah National Park may be one of the few places where you could see a spotted skunk sitting under a gray birch tree. The spotted skunk is at the northern part of its range while the gray birch is at the southern part of its range.
