McPherson, Kansas


The college’s 23-acre campus is located in the community of McPherson, in central Kansas. In the past decade, the city of McPherson has been consistently ranked in the top 40 of the “Best Small Towns in America,” and Progressive Farmer magazine recently named McPherson County the third-best place to live in rural America and the best place to live in the rural Midwest. McPherson County is home to about 30,000 residents. The community of McPherson supports our students by attending arts and athletic events, and by offering internship opportunities in a variety of fields.

Getting to mcPherson

Points south of Wichita:
1. Take I-35 North to Wichita, Kansas
2. Take Exit 42 (first Wichita exit)
3. Take I-135 North to McPherson Exit 60
4. Turn west onto Kansas Avenue and go approximately one half mile. Turn right onto Eshelman Street. Use the parking lot to the right.

Points west of McPherson:
1. Take U.S. 56 East which becomes Kansas Avenue in McPherson. Continue going east approximately 1 1/2 miles past Main Street.
2. Turn left onto Eshelman Street. Use the parking lot to the right.

From Interstate I-70
1. Take I-135 South to McPherson Exit 60
2. Turn west onto Kansas Avenue and go approximately one half mile. Turn right onto Eshelman Street. Use the parking lot to the right.
