The aforementioned is one of the guiding principles of the NOAA Coastal Services Center. The Center partners directly with state and local coastal resource management programs to work on site-specific issues. The lessons learned, including the models and processes that are created, the technology that is enhanced, and the data that is generated, are then passed on to benefit the rest of the coastal resource management community.

Each year the Center is involved in over 100 projects. The following is a state-by-state summary of each of these efforts.
