The Annapolis Department of Transportation (ADOT) provides transit and commuter solutions through three shuttle routes and a fixed-route system comprised of eleven routes.  The ADOT system links residents and visitors to the State's capital with recreational areas, shopping centers, educational and medical facilities and employment hubs.  Through a deviated fixed-route services, ADOT also offers transportation for the elderly and persons with disabilities.

  • licenses, inspects and regulates over 150 taxicabs and their operators
  • staffs the City's Transportation Board
  • plans and executes special transportation for City-sponsored events
  • regulates valet parking operations
  • serves as the agent and station operator for Greyhound/Trailways
  • participates on the regional, state and federal level to develop plans and improve local and regional transportation
