Diabetes is a serious health problem for American Indian/Alaska Natives in the U.S. American Indian/Alaska Native women suffer more from diabetes compared to all other women. American Indian/Alaska Native women have more cases of diabetes than American Indian/Alaska Native men. This publication discusses diabetes in American Indian/Alaska Natives women.
