Bibliography:
The flight logs and exhibition contracts of the Wright Exhibition team
from the Library of Congress were used to identify many of the images.
The Harold E. Morehouse Flying Pioneers Biographies Collection in the
archives of the National Air and Space Museum was an invaluable
resource. Finally, a handwritten autobiography by Frank Coffyn, Flying
with the Wrights, written in 1929-1930 yielded many important
clues.
In addition, the following published titles were used:
Crouch, T. D. (1989) The Bishop's Boys: A Life of Wilbur and Orville
Wright (New York: WW Norton)
McFarland, M.W. (1953) The Papers of Wilbur and Orville Wright:
Including the Chanute-Wright Letters and Other Papers of Octave Chanute
(New York: McGraw-Hill)
Renstrom, Arthur G. (1975) Wilbur and Orville Wright: A Chronology
Commemorating the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Birth of Orville
Wright (Washington, D.C.: Library of Congress)
Special thanks to the Troy, New York Historical Society
