Civil RightsThe NRC’s Civil Rights Program provides for the prompt, fair, and impartial processing of discrimination complaints filed under Titles VI, VII, and IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), as amended; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Rehab Act), as amended; the Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA), as amended; Executive Order 11478, “Equal Employment Opportunity in the Federal Government of 1969,” as amended; and Title II, Section 401, of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended. A primary goal of the Civil Rights Program is to eliminate or modify procedures and practices that give rise to valid complaints filed under these statutes.The NRC’s employment

the regulations of the U.S. Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission (EEOC) The NRC's discrimination complaint process for complaints filed under
Title VI and Title IX is administered in accordance with the regulations
of the U.S. Department of Justice
