Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Discussion:

On September 8, 2000, the licensee announced the restructuring of the
upper management of the Point Beach and Kewaunee plants. The
restructuring is intended to improve management efficiencies by treating
the two neighboring sites as, essentially, one three-unit site. Effective
September 8, Mark Reddemann, the site vice-president for Point Beach,
will become the vice-president of both sites. Ken Weinhauer, the Kewaunee
general manager, will become the assistant site vice-president, with a
focus on the upcoming steam generator replacement project at Kewaunee.
Brian Koehler, the acting quality programs manager at Kewaunee, will
become the quality assurance manager for both sites. At Kewaunee, Kyle
Hoops will remain the plant manager. Effective September 18, Fred Cayia
will resume the duties of Point Beach plant manager, a position that he
previously held. Rick Repshas will become the site services manager, with
responsibility for the health physics, security, emergency planning, and
chemistry areas at both sites. Effective September 25, Rick Mende, the
Point Beach plant manager, will become the Director of Engineering for
both sites. Dan Cole will serve as the assessment manager for both sites,
effective September 11, with responsibilities that include licensing and
regulatory compliance. He will be succeeded by Rick Pulec on January 1,
2001.
