This line theme contains a spatial representation of the 303(d) list and should be used in conjunction with the actual 303(d) list. The 303(d) list attribute information included in the GIS attributes table is generalized and is described below.
Purpose:
This layer was developed in order to portray spatially some elements of the 303(d) list and to assist in the 303(d) list development process

Line work representing streams were reselected from StreamNet 1:100,000 river reach data files for Oregon based on the 303(d) list to create new GIS layers to represent the 2002 303(d) list. Out of the StreamNet reach data sets ONLY those features on the 303(d) list appear in these layers. The attribute scheme was revised for the stream layer for the 2002 representation. Changes (additions, removals, modifications) were made to the GIS layers as edits were done to develop 2002 303(d) list.

The 303(d) list document, "Oregon's Approved 2002 Section 303(d) List" approved by EPA on March 24, 2003 is the document of the record. Users are advised that these layers should not be used without the 303(d) list. There may be both revisions and corrections to the GIS representation without notice. Care was taken in the development of these GIS layers, but they are made available "as is". There are no warranties, express or implied, including the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accompanying these layers. Notification of any discrepancies between the GIS representation and the 303(d) list will be appreciated.
