Recreational Activities - Your Fees at Work

The Student Conservation Association has been coordinating with the Inyo National Forest for several years now and with each season comes excited new students ready to work hard at making your wilderness visit a better experience. Student interns do everything from answer reservation requests in the Wilderness Permit Office, build trails and install bridges on various wilderness trails, to help visitors plan trips in the Ranger Station offices. They come from all over the world to gain experience in resource management and visitor services and make it possible for the Inyo National Forest to provide higher quality service to its various users.
