JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) offer businesses and homeowners tips on how to repair and rebuild in a way to make properties less susceptible to damage from future disasters.  Two new information stations will be set up in the following locations.

Mitigation specialists will also provide pamphlets on how to deal with mold and mildew, and information on the National Flood Insurance Program, and building a safe room.  Residents can become familiar with the floodplain management activities in their community and how their communities can participate.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
