Security Convergence has been a driving factor in the commercial and federal marketplace over the past several years. The integration of physical, personal, and data security systems led federal customers to seek new and innovative solutions utilizing existing tools, including GSA Multiple Award Schedules (MAS).

GSA MAS can provide solutions for many complex security needs. As the commercial marketplace evolves, GSA will endeavor to assist its customers in aligning its tools to support the state-of-the-art solutions needed by our federal customers.

Schedules can effectively support security convergence efforts with products and services either on a single schedule, or across schedules. MAS contractors can provide total solutions for complex cross schedule procurements singly by holding multiple MAS contracts, or through Contractor Teaming Arrangements.

GSA’s goal is to provide the information and training, in conjunction with industry knowledge to enable the customer to obtain the needed services and products from the existing Multiple Award Schedules, all from one place. The home base for this effort can be found at gsa.gov/securitysolutions.
