Mid Atlantic Region posts FY 2005 Records Management Training Schedule.
This year's records management training schedule is now available on our web site, and includes the new NARA national training program. Training is scheduled to be offered by the Mid Atlantic Region this year in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pittsburgh), Delaware (Rehoboth Beach), Maryland (Baltimore) and Virginia (Richmond). Additional training is also offered at NARA headquarters in College Park, MD and in Washington, DC.
NARA has developed a nationwide, integrated records management curriculum with ten new courses which will be offered for the first time this year. These new courses include many hands-on exercises which will provide participants with practical applications of the subject matter and a comprehensive overview of all aspects of managing information.
NARA has developing a course description catalog reflecting all of NARA's nationwide training opportunities which will be mailed out shortly. The FY 2005 records management training calendar and course descriptions for all regions is posted to the NARA web site at: www.archives.gov/records_management/training/training.html.
