ORDER
OCCUPANCY AND USE RESTRICTIONS
PIKE AND SAN ISABEL NATIONAL FORESTS
CIMARRON NATIONAL GRASSLAND ORDER

 

Pursuant to Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 261.50(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited within the Cimarron River Corridor Travel Management Area, described as those National Forest system lands along the Cimarron River with the north and south boundaries being the continuous barbed wire fence; the west boundary being the Colorado/Kansas state line; and the east boundary being Kansas Highway 51, all located in Morton County, Kansas. Also included are all National Grasslands located in Stevens County, Kansas.

The area described as the Cimarron River Corridor Travel Management Area is more specifically shown on Exhibit A.

THIS ORDER PROHIBITS:

(1) Using any type of motorized vehicle on the following Forest development roads or segments listed herein Exhibit B. 36 CFR 261.54(a).

(2) Using or possessing a motorized vehicle off forest development roads or routes designated by a white arrow symbol. 36 CFR 261.56

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(e)(1)(2)(4)(5), the following persons are exempt from this order.

(1) Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission.

(2) Owners or lessees of land in the area.

(4) Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.

(5) Persons engaged in a business, trade, or occupation in the area.
