| Funeral for Medal of Honor Recipient |

| U.S. soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry, The Old Guard, carry Retired Chief Warrant Officer Michael J. Novosel Sr., Medal of Honor Recipient, during a funeral procession at Arlington National Cemetary in Washington D.C. where he was laid to rest, April 13, 2006. Novosel, a past pilot with the U.S. Army's Golden Knights Parachute Team, earned the Medal of Honor for actions in Vietnam. Six Medal of Honor recipients attended the service along with Army Vice-Chief of Staff Gen. Richard Cody, who offered the eulogy and presented the flag to Novasel's son, Michael J.
