20 Hour Spanish Basic Training
IowaCASA will be offering a Sexual Assault 20 hour training in Spanish. Please print or forward this to your advocates and volunteers who might be interested. Also, feel free to invite the staff of agencies and Churches in your area that work directly with the Latino Community. This is a great oportunity to built collaboration with those agencies and churches.
The training will be in Des Moines on Friday, December 5, continue on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2008.

National Relief Fund Presents Money to Iowa Rape Crisis Centers
A presentation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 2pm, by Director of the Nation Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), Karen Baker. Ms. Baker will present checks to three of our Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault member centers who were impacted by the midwest flooding.
The program will be held at one of the centers, Waypoint, in Cedar Rapids. It is located at 318 - 5th Street SE.
