Robbins Participates in Park Flight Workshop at Grand Canyon During the week of Nov. 13-17, Dr Chandler Robbins participated in a Park Flight workshop at the National Park Service Albright Training Center at Grand Canyon National Park. Participants included National Park Service staff and colleagues from Mexico and Central America. Objective was to promote more migratory bird activities at parks and protected areas throughout the hemisphere. Park Flight is a partnership program of the National Park Foundation, the National Park Service, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, University of Arizona, and the U.S. Agency for International Development with the support of American Airlines. Gee and Jung Provide Overviews on Avian & Amphibian Issues to Johns Hopkins Students On Novemer 25, Dr George Gee and Dr Robin Jung hosted a group of Johns Hopkins students. Dr Gee provided a tour of the Captive Breeding Facility. Later, Dr Gee and Dr Jung presented a talk and slide show which emphasized an overview of avian issues at Patuxent (Dr Gee) and a review of concerns with, and studies on amphibians at Patuxent (Dr Jung).
