Program Description
Fire Corp members help the Lynnwood Fire Department in getting life safety messages to many more members of the public than our current resources allow. They aid in bringing disaster preparedness into neighborhoods, provide information on safety at local events and come to the aid of fellow residents during disaster. To accomplish this Fire Corps members are trained in many areas of fire and life safety. This enables them to answer questions from community members and speak knowledgeably on important safety topics. They conduct fire station tours and provide staffing for public education events at schools, churches and other community events.
