Disaster Recovery Centers Transition To SBA Loan Centers

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Pontiac and the Watseka Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) will close Friday, April 4 and will reopen Saturday, April 5 as U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOCs), federal and state disaster officials announced today.
At the DLOCs, SBA representatives will continue to provide Iroquois and Livingston county homeowners, renters and business owners with personal assistance in completing their loan applications, answering questions about SBA's loan program and explaining how an SBA loan can help pay for eligible disaster losses.
A FEMA representative also will be available on site to continue to provide assistance.

The DLOCs will be open Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They will be closed on Sunday, April 6, but will reopen Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will close permanently at COB Thursday, April 10.

FEMA coordinates the Federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terrorism.
