The Children, Youth, and
Families at Risk (CYFAR) Conference
San Antonio was the backdrop for inspiring discussions, leading-edge technology trainings, engaging workshops and other professional development activities at the 2008 CYFAR conference. Nearly 1,000 state, county and land-grant university staff and community partners attended. CYFAR conference showcases new research, programs, resources and strategies relevant to work with our CYFAR audiences. It provides an opportunity to share ideas, celebrate accomplishments and renew our commitment to at-risk children and families.

Announcing CYFAR 2009 in Baltimore, MD
The 2009 CYFAR Conference will be May 19-21 at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront on the Baltimore Inner Harbor. It will feature keynote speakers, current youth and family research presenters, interactive workshops and computer labs, as well as a Program Showcase demonstrating the most successful CYFAR community programs. Plans are underway for a playground build in Baltimore in addition to in-depth pre-conference sessions on May 18.
