About this Organization
Brevard County Housing & Human Services Department Mission Is To Contribute To Brevard County's Quality Of Life By Assisting Citizens To Meet Their Health, Social And Housing Requirements. Programs To Include: First Time Homebuyer Program, Replacement, Rehabilitation & Repair Deferred Loan Program, Weatherization Assistance Program, Fair Housing Program, and Affordable Housing Program. Brevard County Housing & Human Services is joining the ENERGY STAR Change a Light Day Campaign to Promote Weatherization Day. Weatherization Assistance Program Mission is To reduce energy costs for low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety." Brevard County Housing & Human Services is also conducting an Energy Fair which will be open to the public on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Brevard County Government Complex in Viera, Building B.
