About this Organization
The Robert E. Lee Energy Team is made up of ten fifth grade students. This group of energetic students has decided to obtain as many pledges as possible and to encourage people to change to CFL bulbs. We have held demonstrations showing the different wattage output between an incandescent bulb and a CFL. The children have conducted learning centers for other students and adults on the benefits of CFL's,areas in homes where energy is wasted,and asking others to sign pledges. They are a committed group and have learned a great deal!
