About this Organization
The United Illuminating Company is an electric transmission and distribution utility based in New Haven, Connecticut. Our service territory consists of 17 municipalities located in a coastal region that stretches from Fairfield to North Branford and north to Hamden. The 320,000 residential customers within this area comprise approximately 35% of Connecticut's total population.
