About this Organization

Kimberton Waldorf School, founded in 1941, is the 2nd oldest Waldorf School in North America. Situated on 437 acres of bio-dynamic farmland on the banks of French Creek in semi-rural Chester County, PA, the school serves approximately 330 students from early childhood through grade twelve. Across the road from the main campus are the organic dairy, Seven Stars Yogurt production and biodynamic Community Supported Agriculture garden. Since 1995, Kimberton Waldorf School has provided an organic, vegetarian hot lunch for all students and faculty/staff who wish to participate. The meals are prepared with local, fresh food and a great deal of loving thought and care.
