Started as a rumor control hotline in 1970, KU Info has morphed into a general information wellspring. Students, parents, alumni and just about anyone else in the world can have their questions answered with a simple phone call or a quick query online.
KU has formed a financial literacy task force that will help students become more savvy with money, from managing debt to balancing a checkbook. The group's goal is to increase the financial literacy of students so they can avoid unmanageable debt and learn vital life skills.

The Spencer Museum of Art's Thomas Hart Benton painting, "The Ballad of the Jealous Lover of Lone Green Valley," has been selected as one of 24 finalists for the 8 Wonders of Kansas Art, a project designed to educate the public about the state and to encourage travel.
Thanks to a six-year, $20.2 million National Institutes of Health award, KU is joining top-tier institutions in the search for molecules that can advance human health. The grant is the largest federal research award ever made in Kansas.
