    Are there any pictures taken from a space probe, looking back towards the Sun, from way out or beyond the solar system?

    There is a unique and quite famous solar system portrait taken by the Voyager spacecraft looking back at the Sun and planets. See either of the following websites (or many others that your Internet browser can access under "solar system portrait). The picture is also discussed in detail in Carl Sagan's book "Pale Blue Dot".
