            OSM AWARDS COLORADO $1,633,954 TO ASSIST
                                
          IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING
                                
              The Interior Departments Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is
         providing Colorado a $1,633,954 grant to help the state regulate the surface effects of coal
         mining.
              The grant assists in paying half of Colorado's inspection and enforcement costs, including
         equipment, supplies and transportation.
