	OSM AWARDS KANSAS $1,965,000 TO ASSIST
	IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING

The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and 
Enforcement (OSM) has awarded Kansas a $1,965,000 grant to help the 
state's Coal Regulatory Administration & Enforcement Program.
The grant will assist the state in regulating federal and non-federal 
lands.
