Arts Education

Tempe's Cultural Services arts education classes seek to connect Tempe residents with the arts. By teaching basic skills in multiple art forms and increasing awareness of arts events and activities in the community, classes offer opportunities for discovery, exploration and educational enhancement. We strive to make programming accessible to all Tempe residents, by offering innovative, effective classes at a high quality level, for a great value.

Every class has three goals:

  • To teach Tempe residents the basic skills they need to participate in a specific art form.

  • To connect the arts with Tempe residents' daily experience.

  • To build community by connecting Tempe residents to local arts events, activities and artists.
