Training

Title 5 Code of Federal Regulations Part 410 is a codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register on training. Part 410 establishes regulations that Federal agencies are to follow in carrying out their training programs. Part 410 addresses the following topics related to training:

• Subpart A - General Provisions;
• Subpart B - Planning for Training;
• Subpart C - Establishing and Implementing Training Programs;
• Subpart D - Paying for Training Expenses;
• Subpart E - Accepting Contributions, Awards, and Payments From Non-Government Organizations;
• Subpart F - Evaluating Training;

• Subpart G - Reports.

Title 5 CFR Part 410 was restructured and revised in 1996 to reflect changes to Title 5 United States Code Chapter 41. The current rules provide agencies additional flexibility, reduce restrictions on training, and make training a more responsive management tool.
