User Services

Need help fast?

The User Services staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer your questions.

Call 1-800-331-USER (1-800-331-8737) or send e-mail to support@nas.nasa.gov.

Users located at Ames Research Center can simply dial extension 4-4444.

Welcome to NAS User Services. This area of our site is dedicated to helping NAS users get the most out of their computer resource allocations.

The Getting Accounts section will help both new users and current users to obtain or update computer accounts at NAS. To renew an existing account through our automated Onramp system, please complete the Online Account Request Form.

The Help Desk section will connect you with our knowledgeable control room staff and serve up-to-date system status. Detailed information about using computers in the NAS environment is covered in Policies and Procedures. Basic systems information is available under Systems Documentation; a good place for getting started.

In addition, the Training and Events section describes NAS classes, seminars, and conferences that are open to staff, users, and the high-performance computing community.

What's new?

Please read about changes to the NAS computing environment for FY2004.
