The Social Security Administration (SSA) promotes
the economic well being of the American people by administering the Social
Security and Supplemental Security Income programs. The San
Francisco Region administers these programs in Arizona, California,
Hawaii, Nevada, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, and Guam.
The public we serve is the most diverse in the nation with more than seventy
different languages spoken. Our Region serves over seven million
