2003 Export Achievement Award Winners

Integ Process Group, Inc., a supplier of process models, control systems, software development, and connectivity solutions based in Wexford, PA, was awarded an Export Achievement Certificate in December 2003 for their representation and sales in Mexico. As a direct result of the U.S. Commercial Service’s counseling and attending a trade event in Mexico, Integ was able to secure representation and make sales in Mexico for the first time.

Leech Carbide, a manufacturer of fine grain tungsten carbine located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, was awarded an Export Achievement Certificate in August 2003 for their representation and sales in Brazil. The Pittsburgh U.S. Export Assistance Center arranged a Gold Key Matchmaker Service for Leech Carbide that allowed the company to meet potential agents in Brazil and eventually form a steady sales relationship with the Brazilian company Special Tools.

Sinterfire, a small manufacturer of powdered metal ammunition components located in Kersey, Pennsylvania, was awarded an Export Achievement Certificate in April 2003 for their sales in Germany, the Philippines, and Australia. As a result of the U.S. Commercial Service’s counseling and the assistance of the Western Pennsylvania District Export Council, Sinterfire was able to grow its sales internationally.
