The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2008 is the 27th edition of the premier manufacturing technology show in North America.  More than 1,200 exhibiting companies will occupy 1.2 million net square feet of exhibit space at the McCormick Place complex in Chicago, Illinois.  IMTS is held every even-numbered year in Chicago and attracts more 90,000 buyers and sellers from 119 countries.

International Buyer Program

The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2008 has been accepted into the US Department of Commerce's (DOC) International Buyer Program. The International Buyer Program (IBP) brings together international buyers and US firms by promoting leading U.S. trade shows in industries with high export potential. Participation in the IBP can be beneficial to both international attendees and exhibiting companies whose goal is to sell in the global marketplace.

The IMTS 2008 will be promoted via US embassies, consulates and Commercial Service Posts worldwide. The IBP will also survey exhibitors and international delegates regarding their purchasing and selling interests in order to match exhibitors with prospective buyers.
